About Adelaide

Weather is also great in the city of Adelaide as winter is usually mild and summer is usually warm and dry. The standout is Autumn which is often sunny with temperatures remaining in the mid 20’s. This makes it a very comfortable time to explore the city and its outdoor open spaces.

Cultural festivals range from the Adelaide Fringe festival, Adelaide Film and Cabaret festivals, WOMAD ( World Music Festival ) and the Adelaide Festival.
There are further cultural activities on offer in the city centre which is easily accessed by a variety of public transport in the form of trams, trains and buses. North Terrace in the CBD offers the Art Gallery of South Australia and the South Australia Museum which allow you to experience some of the history of Adelaide and its people.

The main street of the CBD is Rundle Street which has an array of retailers, cinemas, cafes, bars and al fresco dining options. The laneways off Rundle Street offer a quirky and eclectic mix of shops to appeal to any shopaholic visiting Adelaide. Gouger Street also offers a variety of Asian influenced eateries and is where you will find the vibrant Adelaide Central Markets which are open Tuesday to Saturday. The markets which are located a stones throw from our city apartment are well worth a visit as they are stocked with plenty of fresh food and flavours.

Adelaide is also known as being a city that is passionate about its sport. There is tennis, V8 Supercars, cycling and The Adelaide Cup all making regular appearances on the calendar.

Glenelg is an easy 10 minute drive or 25 minute tram ride from the CBD and impresses and delights visitors with its charming seaside township. The beach in Glenelg is simply stunning with its seascapes and clear turquoise waters. We have a fabulous apartment within the Glenelg district ready for you to relax and enjoy.

Day trips and weekend escapes are one of the best reasons to visit Adelaide. The World famous Barossa Valley with its vineyards and fresh flavours is only a 1 hour drive from Adelaide and simply must be visited.
