There are many things to see and do while in Caulfield including the famous Caulfield Park and Racecourse.There are 20 race days each racing season and some of Australia’s most famous and historic races are conducted on those days. The Caulfield train station is less than a hundred metres from the racecourse.
Caulfield is well serviced by public transport into the city. Trams also connect Caulfield extensively via route 67.
Tavlin Restaurant on Glenhuntly Road, a popular middle eastern restaurant and Siam Thai Restaurant get consistently good reviews. These are but two of Caulfield’s many well known and well located restaurants. The Lambassa, a French Renaissance mansion with luxuriant and expertly made interior, is well worth a visit while staying with us in Caulfield. It really is so accessible from this suburb. Elwood Park is a great place to go for a walk near the bay and if that gets the hunger going, you can head over to the eateries on Acland Street St Kilda a stones throw away. There is so much to see and do in the Bay foreshore area, and it is all so easy from our Caulfield accommodation.
