About Glen Iris

The suburb of Glen Iris is located 10 kilometres south east of the Melbourne Central Business District. It has a population of around 25,000. Glen Iris has a number of public schools and also some exclusive private schools including Sacre Coeur, Korowa Anglican Girl’s School and Melbourne Grammar. The suburb is serviced by rail transport on the Alamein Line, and regular bus services run to the city and surrounds. Glen Iris is only a few kilometres away from Caulfield racecourse one of Australia’s premier racing event locations, and home to the Caulfield Cup.
